COVID-19 Information for Returning Visitors

Businesses are beginning to reopen under the state’s phased reopening plan, and we look forward to welcoming you back to Wilson in the coming weeks!

As you begin traveling again, know that we continue to monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) closely and to follow the recommendations of the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services to make Wilson safe for residents and visitors.

We encourage you to exercise healthy travel habits and to follow official CDC travel recommendations.

The following Wilson, NC, events have been cancelled or postponed:

  • The Eyes on Main Street Outdoor Photo Festival has been postponed until October 31, 2020.
  • Gig in the Park Concerts are canceled.
  • All recreation centers and community centers are closed.
  • All athletic programs are suspended.
  • Many outdoor spaces, such as parks and trails, remain open. Please check individual facility websites to confirm.
